Parking Lot Paving. Edison & Middlesex County, NJ
New lots and full reconstructions: engineered sections, phased work, ADA layout, done to print.
Edison Paving paves parking lots across Edison: new construction, full reconstructions, and expansions for retail, offices, industrial yards, houses of worship, and HOAs. A lot is engineered pavement, sections designed to traffic, drainage designed to code, layout designed to move cars and satisfy ADA, and we build to the print or produce the plan ourselves.
Parking Lot Paving by our own crew, measured and quoted in writing
Sections designed to the traffic they carry
A lot serving sedans needs a different structure than a lane feeding a loading dock, and a single-section lot that ignores its truck paths fails exactly where the trucks go. We design and build by zone: standard duty in the stall fields, heavy duty in drive lanes, approaches, and dumpster routes, with binder and wearing courses over base depths matched to each. It is the difference between a lot that ruts at the entrance in three years and one that carries its traffic for twenty.
Drainage, structures, and the things under the asphalt
Lots live or die on water management: pitch to inlets, catch basins set to grade, trench drains at door aprons, and subgrade that stays dry. We set and adjust drainage structures as part of the paving scope, coordinate utility castings to finished grade, and verify fall with instruments before the paver arrives. Ponding on a new lot is a design failure, not bad luck, and it is preventable with survey discipline.
Phasing that keeps the business open
Most reconstruction happens on operating properties, so the schedule is part of the engineering: section-by-section phasing, overnight and weekend pours where the tenant mix demands it, temporary access lanes, and striping that reopens each phase safely. We run the traffic plan with your property manager before the first saw cut, and the site stays usable throughout.
